I am an academic economist interested in topics such as corruption, democracy, decentralization and local governance. I obtained a BA at the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba and received my PhD from the University of Nottingham. Although I am currently based in the UK, I am an Argentinian citizen. I was born in Cordoba some time ago and moved to Nottingham to pursue my doctorate. I am happily married and have no kids at the present. Personal interests are widely varied and include 60’s psychedelia, cult movies, creative writing and IT. I enjoy drinking fine Malbecs, playing footie and eating a proper Argentinian barbeque. I am a long-standing loyal (mad) fan of the Club Atletico Belgrano.
